Are you a higher education student in Turku? Do you use social media, mainly Instagram? Are you good with words and do you have basic photography skills too? Would you like to tell people how great student city Turku is – and make a little money while doing so?
Apply for Study in Turku Brand Ambassador team! We are assembling a team of higher education students living in Turku. The team members take turns producing content for our Instagram account (@studyinturku) – mainly in the form of stories but also feed posts.
Study in Turku is a cooperation network formed by the city of Turku and the five higher education institutes in the area. The aim of the collaboration is to market Turku as an attractive student city, to serve students already in Turku and to tempt and help students to stay in Turku after their graduation.
The Brand Ambassador program is a way to promote Turku’s reputation as an interesting city for students. For this reason, the content made by the Brand Ambassadors should not focus so much on a single field of study but more on student life in Turku in general and on Turku as a student city.
As an ambassador, you plan and implement content in your own personal way, and we also work together as a team. One ambassador week includes 3 Instagram take-over days, and the ambassadors get paid 180 euros for the week. How many content-producing weeks each ambassador gets depends on the number of applications and suitable candidates. Each Brand Ambassador produced content for 4 weeks in the year 2022.
