The Study in Turku Fair introduces new students to Turku. At the fair, you and your students will have the opportunity to explore the services of the city of Turku, student and hobby organizations, with companies relevant to students. The fair will take place on Wednesday, August 30 from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM, at the premises of ICT-City and EduCity, located at Joukahaisenkatu 3.

PRINCIPLES OF SAFER SPACE

We have a safer space policy in Study in Turku events and social media. To us, a safer space means that everyone has the freedom to be what they are, without mockery, discrimination or harassment.

Study in Turku events and social media are free from harassment and discrimination. All participants in the events and social media commit to these principles. The premise of a safer space is that we treat others as we would like to be treated ourselves.

We follow The Finnish National Youth Council Allianssi's Principles of safer space, which you can read in more detail here:

Allianssi's Principles of safer space (nuorisoala.fi)

To visit the fair area as a student, pre-registration by a tutor is required. You can reserve spots directly for your entire student group. The tutor's contact information is sufficient for registration; student contact information is not needed.

You can also register as a larger group at once. When registering, you can specify how many tutors and students will be attending.

As a registered tutor, you will receive a confirmation email with a QR code. When you arrive at the fair, present the QR code either at the Study in Turku booth or the information point. After showing the code on-site, you'll receive a movie ticket after the event.

To ensure a pleasant fair experience, the event is divided into two different time windows. We kindly ask you to choose an estimated arrival time for the fair.

The fair will follow the principles of a safer space.

The organizer reserves the right to make changes.
